Water and boats have always been in my life. As a child I loved exploring the little water caves along the shore of our lake in my rowboat . I have painted my brother's canoe, dingies made by Jonathan Minott in Maine with their lovely glowing wooden interiors, the sails of classic wooden boats and rowers balanced on impossibly narrow sculls.
